 The mother of Brisbane Broncos player Payne Haas will remain behind bars on manslaughter charges until March after her lawyer abandoned a bail application in a Gold Coast court today. Uiatu "Joan" Taufua, 46, is the sole survivor of the crash that killed Susan Zimmer, 70, her partner Chris Fawcett, 79, and Ms Zimmer's daughter Steffanie at Bonogin on December 23 last year.
